Wildlife Day of Action

Showing up
for Wildlife
Our legislature is about to make big decisions for Oregon’s wildlife, and they need to hear from all of us. On February 11th, we’re gathering at the Capitol for a day of action, advocacy, and celebration to urge leaders to pass HB 4134. Your voice can help change the future for countless species. Will you be there?

Species such as sea otters, American pikas, and North American porcupines are facing mounting threats from climate change, habitat loss, and diminishing protections. The proposed 1% for Wildlife measure would dedicate a small share of Oregon’s tourism lodging tax to fund critical conservation efforts, giving our wildlife the support they desperately need. Now is the time for us to show up and speak up.
The day will include a lively rally at the Capitol and pre-scheduled lobby meetings where you will have the chance to meet with legislators to share why Oregon’s wildlife matters to you. Whether this is your first lobby day or your fiftieth, we’ll ensure you feel prepared, supported, and empowered.
